Rules, Regulations, and Policies

A few of our requests and requirements to make everyone's stay enjoyable, safe, and fair.

  • RV / Tent Sites are $40/night (refundable rate) or $30 (online advanced booking - non-refundable rate) - Primitive Camping is $20 per night per tent.
  • Check-In is 3p / Check-Out is 12p
  • Max Occupancy (6 persons up to 4 adults max)
  • No more than 2 vehicles per site (anything with an axle is a vehicle)
  • Tent Camping in approved sites only. 2 tents max per site. We also offer primitive camping.
  • Day Use, Boat Launch, Hammock Garden, and Community Bar area is available to all registered guests.
  • Leashed Pets are welcome!
  • Free Wifi is available at the office only.
  • Several sites require LONGER than normal water and sewer connections. We recommend a 100' water hose and 25' sewer hose at sites 33-50.

General Rules

  • Quiet Hours 11p-7am
  • Speed Limit is 10mph unless otherwise posted.
  • Park in designated areas only. No parking on grass at any time.
  • Pets – Must be on leash at all times. Do not leave pets unattended or chained outside. Be sure to clean up after pets.
  • Trash – Dispose of all trash in the dumpster provided.
  • Fires – In campsite fire pits on approved areas only. County fire bans will be posted. No fires in primitive camping area.
  • Golf Carts by licensed drivers only. No ATVs or Side-by-sides.
  • Camping by reservation in designated sites only.
  • No Tent Camping Allowed except for designated sites
  • No Day Use in RV Sites
  • No camping in non-recreational vehicles (vans, pickups, etc)
  • No more than 2 vehicles per site (anything that has wheels is a vehicle)
  • Max Occupancy at RV Sites is 6 people (no more than 4 adults)

How to Check-In

  • Check-In time is 3pm.
  • Check-Out time is 12pm. Please notify the Office to see if late checkout is an option. (fee required)
  • Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended, especially during peak season (April 1st-October 31st).
  • If you choose to pay cash, a $250 security deposit is required on a Major Credit Card for each cabin.
  • Payment is due upon check-in and full payment is required prior to us giving you your access.
  • When booking three or more properties (cabins and/or rv sites), we require full payment when booking and this is non-refundable. We strongly recommend each member of large groups to book their reservations individually.
  • Minimum stay is 2 nights during the peak season (April 1st- October 31st) and during Texas and Oklahoma Spring Break weeks (Usually middle of March).
  • Holiday Weekends and other special events require a 3 night minimum.
  • Minimum age of renter is 25 years old and must be present during stay.
  • If you plan to arrive after office closes, please look for map on the office door for instructions on checking in. We will try to contact you prior to the office closing to arrange payment. Full payment is due prior to occupying site/cabin.

Cancellation Policies

  • A valid credit card is required to hold the reservation. For 'Regular Rates' full payment is required upon Check-In. For 'Non-Refundable Rates' full payment is taken at the time of the booking. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or Cash as forms of payment. We're sorry, we currently cannot accept Checks unless prior arrangement is made. 'Regular Rates' booking within the cancellation period (see below), your credit card will be charged for one night at the time of the booking.
  • For 'Regular Rates' we require 14 days advance notice to avoid being charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay.
  • For 'Non-Refundable Rates' no changes to reservation dates are permitted and no refunds are issued if you choose to cancel your reservation.
  • Large bookings for three or more cabins and/or rv sites require full payment at time of booking and this payment is non-refundable.
  • Once you have checked-in, you are responsible for payment for your entire stay. If you need to depart prior to your original check-out date, please see management. No refunds will be made for cancellations due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical/electrical failure or malfunctions with TVs or other equipment, family emergencies, sightings of insects and rodents or other circumstances beyond our control.

Pet Policies

  • Some, but not all of our cabins are Pet-Friendly at Lighthouse. Please only take pets into Pet Friendly Cabins only.
  • There is a non-refundable pet fee of $25.00 if you bring a pet.
  • Pets must remain on a leash at all times.
  • Please don’t leave your pet unattended.
  • Excessive barking, or pets not leashed may be cause for immediate and non-refundable eviction.
  • There is a $250 deep cleaning fee charged if you bring pets to non-pet friendly cabins.
  • Your credit card may be charged for damages if any damages arise due to pets.
