There's a huge day use area with ample parking for coming to the lake for a picnic, some fishing, or just a day at the lake. (please limit day use and fishing to the day use area only so people in campsites can enjoy their space too) Day Use Available to TAP Pass Members Only

Eisenhower State Park
Hike Duration: 6.5 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Choose one or more trails at Eisenhower State Park to experience an adventure by foot, bike, or ATV. Check at park headquarters for rules and trail closures.
Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge
Hike Duration: 3.5 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Look for bird nesting boxes along the two Harris Creek Trails. A variety of songbirds and wading birds are common in this area.
Juniper Point
Hike Duration: 14.2 miles
Difficulty: Hard
The Cross Timbers Hiking Trail begins at Juniper Point recreation area and winds west along the southern shoreline of the lake through Cedar Bayou Marina. Hikers travel high above the lake on the rocky ledges that make up the shoreline.The trail is well marked and mileposts have been erected along the way as reference points.
